Welcome to the Hair and Scalp Clinic

Over the past 30 years, Laura has gained invaluable experience and knowledge working in hair care.
What is trichology? Book a consultation
After becoming a hair and scalp therapist in 2004, Laura graduated from the Institute of Trichologists in London in 2007. Specialising in various types of hair loss and scalp conditions, Laura now offers a highly professional, confidential service providing consultancy, ethical advice and treatment.

If you are reading this site you have probably already made an attempt to deal with hair loss or a scalp problem. Perhaps you have visited your pharmacy or purchased numerous products. Unfortunately only too often we hear of such events where the problem has not been rectified.

A qualified trichologist is an expert in the field of hair science who will investigate, diagnose and provide treatment if appropriate.

Consultations by appointment only

An initial consultation usually takes one hour. This includes a full assessment-examination, progress photographs, diagnosis, information and self-care management advice.

Once a diagnosis has been made the most beneficial treatment will be discussed. Underlying medical conditions may need further investigation. Different causative factors require different approaches to encourage hair growth. Samples may be taken for microscopic analysis.

It is advisable to refrain from washing your hair for 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment as evidence of symptoms will aid the diagnostic process (scalp conditions).
